Honestly, Jaehyuk worked on himself amazingly. He changed a lot for Garam and I think Garam needs to see and appreciate that or else things are gonna get ugly real fast for them. Jaehyuk really loves and has outdone himself many times for Garam but Garam has been taking everything for granted. And while I am aware that he's had previous sad incidents, I think he ought to trust Jaehyuk more. On this particular one too. He already knows that he was wrong before he even got home and he knows it himself that he's only making excuses because if he said something about it earlier, Jaehyuk would have set everything aside to celebrate it for him. That's how much he loves him.
On another note, I hope this only lasts for one chapter. They're quite adept in communication after they fought compared to other BLs. I hope it remains that way. :D

On a mature standpoint, the lease wasn't too big of a deal unless Garam is an egoist who can't handle an indulgent partner like Jaehyuk (which he IS NOT). I don't understand why people are saying it was anticlimactic? It's a simple white lie all in all. When S4 began, the build up that made everyone nervous was Jaehyuk's parents and it was delivered quite well.
Going back, the only time they fight ever since was when Garam was still shy when it comes to admitting his feelings which led to Jaehyuk drinking + the brief misunderstanding.
I think people are trying to lump this BL on the generic misunderstanding stories that only has that trope going for them. This is not the case with this BL. For example, the usual first love encounter would have spanned a 10 chapter misunderstanding to some BLs but in here, the misunderstanding didn't even managed to come into existence. The main CPs relationship is healthy unlike other BLs because of how they communicate with each other.
The plot of this revolves around their growth as a couple first, then now the main hurdle would be society's prejudice against the LGBTQ+ which is pretty damn realistic in SoKor. Thankfully, I don't think Jaehyuk is ashamed of what he and Garam has. He's so damn proud of his baby it's cute.
After watching them rise from the dumpster fire of encounter to this harmonious no misunderstanding couple feels so rewarding.
