Anyone else completely confused only to find out that there was a prequel that you haven't read?
Believe me, it is confusing even when you read the prequel. So after you read it, come back here and scroll down until you find the topic with the explanation. Also, when it cames to manga, if you see "re" after the name, expect it to be a sequel. I hope I was able to help you.

Also, what's with sensei and these stories being "he reminds me of someone" ones? XD all three of the books, the main story has that factor.
It's weird reading this having also read the original novel where markl is actually a young adult and if I remember correctly gets in a relationship with one of Sophie's sisters.

It's actually the first book in a trilogy, & they're all in English. The series is by a british author named Diana Wynn Jones.
