So callisto goes up to penelope (this should be in the very next chapter that's uploaded) basically saying she's his future wife and just being a major tease. I love their chemistry and interactions sm. These ppl from a defeated empire try to kill callisto using these bird things but penelope uses her crossbow and saves the day. This is just the beginning but here's the stuff that really made me fall for him.

- Penelope bought three amulets as you know. She gave one to emily, one to the duke, but she still had another one left. She was trying to figure out if she should give it to vinter, reynold, or derrick...when callisto comes up from behind her and just takes the gift and claims it as a gift she gave him. in exchange, he promises to hunt for her (during the hunt). (aahh he's such a tease i love him)

- These ladys end up belittling penelope's heroic actions the other day and its the whole ordeal so penelope leaves and decides to go into the hunt (bc of her promise to eclise). She goes in and starts chasing this fox but then she gets lost (and wanders into the territory with the dangerous animals instead of the small ones). When she's lost, she encounter a bear and then this quest shows up saying that she has to defeat the bear. Her weapon, as you know, only earses the memory temporarily but doesn't kill....so whenever she shot the bear, it would forget what happened and keep charging at her. She ends up running out of bullets and callisto happens to be walking by and saves her. He cuts off the bears head and gives it to her to go claim as her own kill. She says no bc the head is still dripping with blood and then he purposefully starts shaking the head so that blood will get on her. She starts screaming and runs to hide behind a tree and he laughs at her. It's a rlly cute scene imo.

- It starts raining and callisto offers to give her a ride back on his horse and she agrees. Right after that he gets shot in the shoulder with an arrow. The amulet she "gave" him ended up protecting him but ig it's a one use thing bc after that it wasn't working. She quickly got on the horse and another quest showed up saying to protect the crown prince. She had to take out the 20 assassins on their tail. She uses her crossbow and shoots them. She nearly got hit a couple times but callisto covered her and took the shots himself. Then there were 3 assassins left. Two were hiding in a bush next to callisto and 1 was in a bush that was next to penelope. She used one bullet on one of the 2 guys in callisto's bush and callisto used his sword on the other. Then there was that one guy and he charged at penelope saying "die you b*tch". She used her last bullet on him and successfully hit her target, but it was too late and the dagger was abt to stab her bc of the momentum. Callisto quickly grabbed her and he got stabbed in her place. They were on the edge of a cliff when this happened so they ending up falling off the cliff together

- Penelope fainting while they were falling and she woke up in a cave. Callisto was sitting near a fire and she noticed he was only wearing his boxers and she called him out on it but then he just said she too was naked. She looked down and realized that he was right but he gave her his cape to wear

AAAAAA thank you so much for this!!! Now I’m even more excited to see the next events

wait i wrote more spoilers than that i guess it didn't show up bc of a character limit or whatever so i'll just add one of the 5 more spoilers that got cut off. I'm too lazy to type all of them again

He told her to go to sleep and she did but then she woke up bc she had a nightmare of that bear from earlier. She tried to go back to sleep but she was shivering and she couldn't do it. Callisto got up and then he started cuddling her to give her warmth and it was so cute. (friendly reminder that he was only wearing boxers in this scene and he had her on his chest...but his cape was in between them bc she was wearing it)

Well u did write a pretty long comment xD i could never pls I’m too dumb for that

i wrote it right before i went to sleep so the grammar might be off but yw :)

that was one of the most exciting parts and ofc it got cut off I was like where did the rest of my comment go.

There's also this whole ordeal where penelope gets accused of attacking the nobles (the assassins were actually nobles backing the other prince...they were trying to kill callisto) and attempting to assassinate callisto. Callisto was unconsious due to the dagger that stabbed him (it was laced with posion) so he couldn't defend penelope and she had to go to trial. while she was testifying she had to lie and say that her and callisto are lovers. No one would've believed that they randomly encountered each other in the woods. one of the palace workers asked penelope if she wanted to visit callisto (bc he still hadn't woken up and everyone was under the impression that they were lovers) and she said okay but "only for 10 minutes". she didn't know what to say to him and ended up just saying "please don't die". he woke up and basically was like "that's all you have to say to me" and they had this rlly cute scene.

Vinter and Callisto dedicated their hunts to penelope (family can't dedicate it to family so reynold and derrick didn't dedicate it to anyone).

I was very brief and skipped a lot here bc i rlly don't feel like retyping everything but you get the gist. callisto is so sweet i love him and i have some more spoilers on what happened in the original timeline and what not if u want to hear them.

I don't like mr."author-by-day-killer-by-night" either but I'll take what I can get. That ex is just so mf disgusting and the way he called ah-in's friend just to get all possessive..like ugh he's so annoying and I'm ready for him to just kick the bucket.
