This is actually good so far. We have a tyrant who is a real tyrant, a spineless empress forced into position making things worse but slowly gaining confidence, a competent noblewoman and mage-knight for side characters, a former princess who turned into a duchess but wants to return to her homeland FL, and a clueless but not incompetent duke sword master ML!
Imma let this sit out for a while. It looks like it’s about to get messy and I’m in for it but all this tension is making my heart race and not in a good way cuz I can’t wait for the next chapter
