If you're not gonna be happy w/ the angst, stop reading it?????
I get it started sweet but jeez yall. The author had a vision and is making it happen. Its drawn out, yes, but so are most of the stories that are dark, from the get go(Shutline, Passion, Flashlight). Its not as if its horribly done. Most of yall are just unhappy you can't reach the happy ending through the tough shit because its ongoing. If you want only good vibes, go read Our Sunny Days or something
Well, if you have a problem with the comments, then stop reading them. People have the right to express their frustration, especially those who have invested time and even money, because many who read here also buy the physical manhwas, paying the author only to have a good story turned into this piece of junk is truly frustrating.
LMAOO the people on here do not purchase nearly as often as you're implying.
Youre right, you can express your displeasure in the comments but at what point do yall stfu and accept that this is the reality of the story??? Were 30+ chapters in and people are still: "Woe is me! I miss the cutsey highschoolers in love! Bring back the flowers and smut!"
There are tons of other cutsey bls with very little drama like the 1st season. Stop wallowing in your misery and accept the author not wanting to stick with the pastels and sparkles. Go re-read the first season and then don't hit the next button.
Baby Ive been invested since the first season was actively releasing chapters, so you're not alone in the reading for years boat (not that I mind the angst).
And nope, Im not slow, I must have more emotional maturity because being affected by an artist choosing how to express their story IS a slow thing to do
Because this manhwa started great and was great for 4 seasons and earned many readers who love it. Ofc people will get pissed and it would have been OK if the author at least made this whole season make any sense. It was not "dark", it was straight ass unlogical and stupid. That's why people are complaining A LOT. And it's okay. Because that's the whole point of comments btw :D
I definitely agree with this, wholeheartedly. But the story is already here, the season is nearly over(not that its even that long in comparison to a lot of other manhwa) and people are still incessant with the complaints about how they wish they never read it. So why tf keep reading it? To make yourself more miserable?
People are going to keep complaining or voicing whatever opinions they want, whether you like it or not, that’s what the comments section is for, hahaha. And believe it or not, those complaints *do* reach the authors, after all, if people are complaining here, they’re complaining elsewhere too. So, hopefully, she hears about all the displeasure she caused among fans with her crappy story. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
For me personally it’s to see where the characters I invested years into end up. I can’t stop reading it even it makes my stomach churn because the author decided to resurrect an ended story. The same could go for you guys complaining about people voicing their concerns, you could just not read them
It's not just about communal hate, dude. It's the fact that people have been following this for YEARS just to watch it get annihilated. I do agree that this season was good in the sense that it showed us that "they lived happily ever after" wasn't a realistic ending, and that real marriages do encounter bumps, especially queer ones (even if this particular kidnapping situation is pretty unrealistic). But the reason why I hate it aswell is that it's just so far off from what we expected from this season and author. It was an adorable fluffy story from the beginning. A lot of people read this because they're faint of heart and can't exactly read toxic stuff. To add such heavy angst now was a horrible choice. And yeah, we could've just stopped reading the second we realized that it was gonna be bad, but when almost every episode ends in a cliffhanger, you really can't put it down. And not to mention, we're all emotionally attached. Even if some are new readers, and didn't put years into this story, the main story does show these characters going from childhood to adulthood, which really does tug at our heart strings.
Ps: quit insulting people when you run out of arguments, you seem cheap. And don't act like you've never hated anything in your life. Opinions are a thing, babe.
Not an insult if its the truth. And I never said it was a good choice to turn the story into something dark and angst. I agree that it should've been a separate entity entirely, but 30+ chapters is more than ample time to say "I can't handle this anymore. For peace of mind, Im gonna drop it". Ive been reading it for YEARS as well, since the 1st season was being released. Its just baffling to me that people would take wallowing in their own misery w/ the story rather than keep their cutsey memories intact
I get that it's the mature thing to do to protect your peace but you're acting like reading this manhwa when I don't like it is a sin, and I considered dropping it so many times. But it's just a manhwa. It won't ruin my life if I read it or don't read it. Besides, sometimes reading slop is what differentiates it from masterpieces. If you were happy all the time, you'd stop feeling much eventually unless there's change. Also, people just think differently, it shouldn't be "baffling" that someone has a different opinion than you. Whether i drop it or not is none of your business, and I'm allowed to critique a bad season. But who knows? I'm just a stupid little caveman.
Im insanely obsessed with this story omfg. The art is fucking breathtaking
