It could be that Ido wanted Sejin to choose him. It seemed like he was trying to lay to the ground work to keep him safe, give him a life he could be proud of, without begging him to love him too. I don't think Ido knew that Sejin didn't want to be free, he wanted to be tied to someone (as family). I imagine this could be why Ido's actions in life 2 confused Sejin.

IDK what's going on with the author if they are sick(hope not) or something im sorry but if its being rushed, then it's one of the worst rushed ones, completely confusing and all over place. As hesoo said i hope it is a dream(prob not) i was really excited to see taykyang to just go crazy and completely out of reach mentally like that one chapter on the balcony, it felt so good to see hesoo completely freaking out and going through mental breakdown, that should have been ongoing and the redemption arc would start ahhhh it would have been soo soo good.
