Honestly as much as i love this story and the characters are so cute, I can't deal with how unrealistic France is presented TT... No, we dont have class in palaces, and no we don't wear uniforms like that/even in very private establishments. I mean ik Its fiction but i cant associate the name of France to any of the representations here
Have you considered that you are maybe just... Poor. Rich people always get the most unrealistic side to a country.
So hum no, there is, in fact, no school like that in France:) and it doesn't have to do with how rich I am or things like that, the school system here isnt that separative and if we don't consider some very rare and very old UNIVERSITIES (not lycées) that uses old and pretty buildings for a very few classes (AND ITS STILL NOT PALACES) i'll say it again, France doesn't look like that (and dont get me started on the uniforms)
apart from the fact that you just assumed my wealth just because im trying to debunk an unrealistic idea people have of my country (its evident to me that the author didn't go very far in their research) we can't ignore the fact that even the most prestigious schools in France doesn't look like that, as for uniforms aside from sports teams it simply does not exist in France... to me it just feels like the author just applied the aesthetic vision they have of France pasted on the korean school system they probably know better

I think the author has a very narrow view of how they think Europeans go to school (based on UK school uniforms is basically them same the uniforms they portrayed here) so they think that all Europeans school children probably dresses the same. so yeah they definitely didn't do any research.
Tbh the uniform thing Def did also seem weird to me because even I knew french schools rarely included uniforms (live in the UK, but I've lived across the world) but I was under the assumption this manhwa was just showing private boarding (international) schools hence the obscene opulence exhibited.
A lot of international schools are big, bold and pristine hence why I said this may be a socio-economical factor. The author probs didn't do their research but also tbh it doesn't seem unfeasible to me (other than the uniform) so ye. Also I'm not rich, I'm just very aware of how different the lives of the rich are because I'm at a prestigious university, surrounded by snobs from all over the world, some being french, and the things I've heard from their schooling experience were baffling to the rest of us. Either way, I don't think it's that big of an issue personally. Korea is incredibly homogenous and france isn't struggling for representation for the most part.
