Every update I just get pumped with endorphins! I love Mairuma Main but this AU just make me love them more! I like that we're getting focus on characters we don't get many screen time with on the main story too so it feels like we're getting something very new, I just love this manga so much
This new chapter is so cute, seeing our Lucky Teach return to the spotlight with that panel of Lied running to him sobbing, I'm fucking crying with him
I want to pinch Baby Azzy's cheeks, so cute!
And it's cool to see that Clarin atleast had good memories during her time in the circus, even one-upping the boss man with her own game
Now it makes even more sense why he's such an overprotective father ╥﹏╥
This manga is too precious, I've always liked the trope of losers getting a huge friendgroup! It's so sweet and heart-warming to see such an appreciation for platonic relationships (even if this one is pretty set up for them to get together romantically, yet they still have a focus on friendships!)
I hope we do get a scene where they start to break the masks they put on themselves and reveal their real selves without feeling like it would mean losing each other! It seems like it would be a super cute and sweet moment between the group
What's really silly is that we've already seen glimpses of them already catching wind of their true nature's just from being good friends. Like how the main couple share drinks or mushroom boy calling ribbon girl "the mountain god". What i really like abt this manga so far is that the "masks" arent necessarily completely a front to hide themselves, theyre just tools they use to be more comfortable to put themselves out there. Novel girl isn't scared to share her knowledge about cheap shopping in fear of ruining her image, it just contradicts her image. I think the appeal here isnt so much that theyre pretending and moreso the gap between their personalities and what youd assume of them based on how they look lol
