I am at chapter 35 and I really don’t get where the story goes. Like ml is a gangster who pulled someone’s teeth a few chapters ago but he can’t deal with an old geezer who doesn’t really have a loyal person on his side. Even his underlings knows he is using them. Why does the ml wants to drag this by taking the entertainment business and make the old man stronger. I mean he doesn’t have a kid who would sought revenge for that man as far as we saw. Why is the author trying to make him looks like powerless and legal? all of a sudden. I really can’t wrap my mind around the story at this point. Was there a need for such a plot?
I just had the same thought after I finished chapter 35. Season 2 is just 'wtf is happening? Couldn't the author decide which plot to go down so we use all of it?'
that's because they have some kind of trauma. although they're gangster they have some trauma with someone they been working. For example Jin in Under The Green Light
