Honestly, I have such mixed feelings about this one. It was a total roller coaster, especially when it turned out that the father was the real plot twist and everything had basically been orchestrated by him. Forbidden love stories like this aren't exactly new, but I think what makes this one different is that the FL has a serious illness. I guess you could call it a happy ending if she actually survives, but what really hurts is that they lost touch and had absolutely no idea what happened to each other for decades.
aaaahhh, i feel like she's going to reject him... i think han nae il needs to showlee danbi more clearly that he's serious about her. danbi seems like the type of person who struggles to express her thoughts and feelings, so at the very least, her partner should be able to do that to make communication work. she needs support and reassurance to feel confident enough to get into a relationship. i don't think han nae il has fully shown how much he likes her through either his actions or his feelings yet. it still feels like he's only at the stage of liking her and being interested in her, like it's all still in the early stages.
