I always liked it when my parents came in school or joined in field trips. But after middle school it was kinda weird to involve parents in school related matters.
I still remember the time when my dad became famous 'bottle opener uncle'(≧∀≦) during lunch hour in my 5th grade field trip.
i have some what similar childhood trauma. my pregnant neighbor who was with me on the roof fell down from 2nd floor in front of my eyes. what is worse that I called her on the roof to see a bird nest.
she lost the baby also broke her back and fractured skull.
i still blame myself
