Unfortunately, the human brain processes text faster than the decision to read said text. On the desktop site, both the OP and your reply appear in their entirety and threaten to blindside any reader who happens to see them. To the fact that you were simply responding to Scheibel's question, there is no reason why you could not have replied by PM or packaged the spoiler more effectively (i.e., hit return 5 times).

These spoilers (and maybe spoilers) are really irritating, and that's coming from someone who's read the original books. I'm also the translator and have no incentive to keep working on this project if y'all know what happens anyway.

I respect that readers feel differently about spoilers. To be clear, I'm not even asking that people don't post spoilers. You can post whatever you'd like, but it really would be nice if you gave some consideration to readers who'd rather not find out about things that happen later before they get there by properly hiding spoilers. To be honest, the Akihito's novel (story) is the Viewfinder manga itself (almost everything is told to us from his point of view).

VF is the novel of Asami Akihito's couple and it is not true that the point of view is internal to akhito; The point of view is external and the narrator is external because he knows the past, the thoughts and intentions of all the characters. HL is the point of view of Fei. But in the end, however, the external narrator takes over: Feilong can not remember if he fainted after being hit.

Ok. To make things clear, there are many things that we see from Aki's point of view (not everything), it's more like we as readers were looking Alice's journey to Wonderland following the white rabbit (Asami). Just to use an easy metaphor.

Well, he's the protagonist of this manga so he has that going on. I'm sorry if this offends someone but I'm saying this as a fan who feels 'natural' towards Fei, I think some Aki fans are quick to gang up on you because some of you guys are so quick to bash Aki. Ok, one Aki fan is annoyed at the amount of Fei talk going on whatever, let them be there is no need to hate on another character because of this. After all there are no manuals which says, you have to hate Aki if you're a Fei fan or vice versa, right? (●'◡'●)

Akihito is a good guy with lots of qualities. But it is a stereotype of uke; Its being recalcitrant does not make it special but only the stereotype of the sparkling uke. Asami and Aki are a beautiful couple. But, from the point of view, Feilong is number one. Not because it is the most important, it is a secondary character, of course, but is the most interesting one. I do not say it but Satoko Ai, a popular novelist in Japan and author of FNR. They are his textual words.

I would like to make a clarification. When I judge VF characters I completely disregard the context in which they operate. It is a world filled with crimes and hateful actions that I hate; Is a dystopian world that I see only as a narrative frame created by Sensei and that I can not change. A world I hate. My comments on Feilong, Asami Akhito etc ... relate only and exclusively to the erotic and psychological dynamics that involve them. Without this abstraction it is impossible for me to evaluate VF because all the characters are negative: Feilong is no exception, indeed.

I focus only on some dynamics and some aspects that concern the various characters and which, for me, in an idealized manner, represent tropes: Fei's emotional insecurity and his need to feel protected, Asami's initial coldness and His promiscuous discovery of being able to experience feelings, Akihito's moral doubts, Yoh's moral doubts divided between love and sense of duty, etc. Only these aspects are considered. My preference for Fei comes from the fact that his emotional disorientation seen in HL impressed me. Otherwise, if I should judge not only these aspects but VF characters in the global sense I have no difficulty saying that nobody, nobody shines, no one is the sun, no one is a prize. Only Tao, Takato and Kou are "normal" characters !!!!
