Because there are quite a few manga with the trope of abuse being brushed off with that excuse, especially when the alpha doesn't have any memory of it. Personally I wish more omegas would get like actually mad afterwards. But some people think it's fine at best, questionable at worst. What's the consensus here?
personally it ruins it completely for me instant drop i would hope the omega would leave and find someone better
