Also, the phrase you're referring to is a metaphor to not overthink things for too long - only for the duration of smoking one cigarette.
i’m not too sure either, i took it like how a cigarette goes out fast; implying that he made up his mind and was never going to leave mc in the first place type thing but idkkk
First he implied that he's gonna come back. And I agree with ChezSoi, there probably was a note in the pack, maybe he meant to wait for the duration of a cigarette to call the cops or something. It's probably gonna be cleared up
This is the only thing I remember: The MC is a writer or artist and they get a package. The delivery guy is abnormally large in comparison (think of the top in dear door) and the MC is ecstatic and keeps saying that this guy is his muse and if he wants to work for him. Anyone know the name??

I only remember reading the first chapter or two. But basically MC is playing a video game and gets sucked into the game. The ML who’s supposed to b evil I think kidnapped him bc they claim that MC has a power that he can use (vision of the future I think)
