Guys I’m feeling stupid right now, but I don’t get the meaning of these toothbrushes that appear throughout the chapters, what does it meeeaan?
This is just speculation, but maybe Jy just doing this, because he has a fear maybe the drug is still in his system and if any of them accidentally use his brush maybe they can also contact with the drug.

Each one of the toothbrushes are color-coded to each of the members (as shown in a flashback of the boys’ trainee days). And in one of the latest chapters, when SM first goes into JY’s dorm, JY says he keeps them incase the members come back to the dorm. Honestly I have no idea for sure, but in my head it just seems like a sort of sad remembrance but also a bit of longing for his members. The same way JY has the habit of keeping that one apology note for the fans, the same way he had an ENTIRE DRAWER full of other notes as shown in one of the early chapters.. He holds onto the things that mean the most to him. And of course there are so many other possible reasons, thats just what I took away from seeing those toothbrushes come up every so often. JY just wants his family back yo ;,(
I think the question was, why JY always buying new ones. (Same ones but he keeps buying news.)

Hmm I may have totally missed that then. Where is that shown? The only time toothbrushes are mentioned its the same ones the boys used during their debut. JY kept them in a bag in his “evidence drawer”, all in Ch.25 I believe. Rereading my comment I think I totally misunderstood the question too

Thank you for the reference, you were totally right. Im confused more now lol. Shit do you think JY thought Jun would try lacing their toothbrushes, thats why he kept replacing them? But why would he keep a copy of them stashed in that drawer? And he pulled out the toothbrushes while explaining what happened to BY. What are your thoughts? Maybe its a olot point we havent learned yet?
Ohh thats a way better speculation than I was having lol. Its been a while since ive read this story, I got some rereading to do. We’ll see where this goes! Sorry to the OP if I totally misunderstood your question
As we saw, the drawer was full of evidence and information regarding the case, police documents, investigative and medical documents, and the phone number of the detective who drowned(?) in Jun’s pool after drugging him. This is all just speculation on my part, but I think one reason he kept a sample of each toothbrush was to prove the other band members' innocence, showing they weren't involved with or linked to the drug, though they likely held sentimental value for him as well. In the chapter where Jun administered the drug to Jy, we see him effectively threatening Jy: if he doesn’t drink the alcohol (which was laced with the drug), he would call in another band member.
I need to reread ongoing manhwas too all the time, because I forget so many things, haha, the time between the chapters are long.
I think your analysis is spot on.. For JY’s character as well, he would absolutely try to protect his bandmates as well as fighting to fix his condition thats been forced onto him.
