There he was SLQ eating medicine and talking about some disease. He quickly found Qi ming (I don't really remember if this was the name or not of the doctor). There he learned SLQ has blood cancer? I don't remember it was written in some chinese name but I think it's cancer. So JQ thinks why didn't SLQ told him about this. Then he got reality check from QM.

Then pei xingxu was with SLQ. JQ was really persistent so SLQ lied to him that he was going out with PXX. Then PXX received a letter saying he was dying and he needed to come back to loulan. PXX asked if he wanted to come but SLQ refused.
When SLQ decided to see off PXX he went to a far away garden when he was about to come back suddenly he vomited blood and lost conscious. People started to search for him but couldn't find him. Two scholar who were jealous of SLQ actually took him little far away and left him in some coffin.
When JQ realised he was missing tried to search for him and asked the two scholars they lied and said SLQ left with PXX. JQ quickly left for loulan. He meet PXX and learned SLQ never came with him. There PXX made bet with JQ whoever finds SLQ first keep him and other never interfere in their life again. JQ agreed.

What happened next?

Next SLQ actually survived in the coffin. He also found a small child in the coffin with him and decided to adopt it. Then he travelled to loulan border. There he found rich businessman who got ready to help him cross border and take him to loulan. He went to loulan but realized the businessman was after his body and wanted to sleep him. SLQ avoided sleeping somehow. Then PXX bday came and as nobel the businessman needed to gift him something. SLQ suggested gifting calligraphy. Thus businessman let's SLQ write but SLQ write the calligraphy in this style hoping for PXX to recognize and save him. During bday PXX doesn't recognize it but just then JQ come. When he sees the calligraphy he recognize it. Both quickly go to businessman man house and rescue SLQ. But SLQ avoids JQ help.

Next JQ doesn't leave loulan and stays there with SLQ but SLQ avoids him. PXX purposed marriage to SLQ but SLQ hesitates saying he can't love someone else after loving JQ so much. PXX says he's okay with this and he just wants SLQ to accompany him. When JQ heard about this he grow furious. During this time SLQ health has degraded very much. Thus he kidnapp SLQ in front of PXX and takes him away. At first PXX tried to stop them let them go when JQ said he'll find the magical plant to save SLQ.
Then they travel through desert, struggle to survive as JQ left in impulse he didn't carry anything with him. SLQ health was really bad so mostly he was in coma throughout the journey. At one point they even attracted desert bandits. There's a very good scene here where JQ let's his horse go hoping he'll go and leave this desert and survive. But horse come back to JQ just before dying. JQ understood the meaning and drink horse blood and eat horse meet as they had no water and food. SLQ woke up during this moment and thinks JQ is so cruel that he'll even kill his favorite horse to eat and drink.

After that they capture the bandit leader who has been chasing them and finally reach the place they wanted reach. I don't remember the name but SLQ biological mother died there only. SLQ also feels his time has come. Thus without any grudge he sits and talks with JQ for a long time. Then SLQ recognize the bandit leader he was hu ner (I don't remember the name but that salve whom JQ brought) brother. Bandit leader trusts SLQ when he told him hu ner real name. After talking whole night SLQ says he's going to sleep a little wake him up later during sunrise. But when JQ tried to wake him SLQ didn't wake up. Bandit leader from side tells JQ that PXX is dead. But JQ refuses to believe his words and starts crying. Finally bandit leader couldn't see it and said he had a poison which could keep dead alive for 3 days. And one of his ancestors survived deadly disease by sleeping on jade platform which is on scared mountain. JQ agrees and decided to go to scared mountain. After reaching the top there's is suddenly avalanche and he falls in a cave and find jade platform where he leaves SLQ and decided to go back and search for magical plant which could cure SLQ.

After that he goes back to loulan there PXX gets angry at JQ for coming back alone. JQ tells him about the legend and leaving SLQ on jade platform. Then he reruns back to his kingdom and made home near Northwest (from where the mountain is nearer) and dispatch a army to find magical plant. 2 years goes by he suddenly get an invitation from PXX saying he's getting married. JQ feels angry thinking PXX forgot SLQ so quickly and is getting married. He decides to go to loulan. There PXX takes him to see his new queen and it turns out to be SLQ. Then PXX tells that he found magical plant and saved SLQ first. And now he's getting married.

Actually during this time PXX become obsessive and possessive. He let's SLQ depends only on him. And doesn't let SLQ interact with others. JQ got to know that even SLQ got okay but mentally he became 8-9 yr old child. Due to bet JQ does nothing. PXX and SLQ get married but SLQ isn't really happy. Just then that bandit leader come and make a purposal to PXX. 1. They'll kill JQ and take over his country. 2. He'll make SLQ love only him. At first PXX was spectical but then agrees. Bandit leader hypotenuse SLQ mind. Seeing this PXX first denied then agreed. When leaving loulan after there marriage JQ suddenly decides to go back. Then he gives his own eyes to SLQ and leave. On the way they get ambushed and I don't remember villian name so I'll just call V okay? V claims he's previous dynasty prince and he'll kill JQ and take over his kingdom.
When news reaches PXX that JQ has been attacked he asked SLQ if they should save him. SLQ says he wants to save. Then they reach where JQ was fighting with enemies. Here PXX says to SLQ that he'll only save JQ if he tells him I love you or he'll let JQ die. SLQ starts crying coz he can't choose any one of the option. Then PXX tells him to kill JQ. SLQ was very reluctant to kill JQ from his own hands but then he was hypothiniced again and unconsciously put dragger in JQ chest.

SLQ starts crying that why didn't he avoided and all. JQ says he'll never avoid him or run away from him. Then V suddenly attacked JQ hoping to kill him but the arrow stuck on SLQ back. PXX started fighting against V . JQ said PXX they both can together fight against V. But PXX refused. SLQ was just going back to PXX but JQ stops and tell him that loulan is not safe and they should first go to jinggou there they will prepare for war. SLQ wasn't ready but JQ promised they'll save PXX. JQ said he can't see and go back alone so SLQ should show him path. SLQ reluctant at first but then agreed. Both left then escaped V attacked and reached kingdom safety. JQ ordered to prepare for war.

They soon left for war. SLQ tagged alone with JQ in silence but later got found out by JQ. During this whole time there was no news about PXX. Did I add that PXX was really sick? Actually his family bloodline also has blood sickness just like SLQ had. When they reached loulan V has already taken over loulan. V said they should see him becoming the king till they agreed he'll kill one civillian after an hour or half an hour. After 3 days JQ agreed. With SLQ he entered the city. V arranged his coronation ceremony. Even the civillian of loulan were reluctant but he beat them. Suddenly JQ army entered the city and attacked. V ordered open fire and killed mang civillian. But at the end he lost. Suddenly houses started catching fire. JQ and SLQ realised that V had keep gunpowder in every house if was planning to destroy the city. The whole city started burning. JQ and SLQ quickly decided to go and find PXX. V told he had locked PXX in jail. They found PXX but PXX refused to admit he was PXX. They finally saw that V had actually taken out his eyes and cut his nose, ruined his face. SLQ couldn't see PXX like this. Suddenly PXX chained SLQ neck. PXX started saying that SLQ left him fighting and went away with JQ and SLQ didn't love him but JQ. He was going to die and only way to seperate JQ and SLQ is to one of them die. Thus he should kill SLQ so both of them be together in afterlife. JQ realised PXX was mentally not stable and tried to calm him down saying SLQ didn't run away with him but he kidnapped and forced SLQ to go with him and SLQ didn't wanted to leave him. But PXX wasn't letting SLQ go. Then suddenly he let go of SLQ and started crying saying how could he even kill SLQ when he loves him so much. The fire was reaching to JQ helped PXX escape from jail. PXX said his time has came and he just want to see the sun now. After coming out PXX says it really warm. SLQ couldn't tell him the truth that his kingdom was actually burning he said that its just the weather. SLQ asked PXX to come with him Qi ming (the doctor) will somehow save him. But PXX refused he said he let his ancestors and king down. He can't go away he'll stay there only. He won't leave his kingdom again. SLQ was reluctant but understood PXX meaning. PXX then said he knew SLQ didn't love him as lover it was more of brotherly love. And even after knowing it he still wanted to love. He failed as a lover and a king. JQ and SLQ finally left PXX. PXX burned with his kingdom and died. SLQ returned to jinggou but they didn't really got together. SLQ lived with the child he found in coffin. JQ still pursued SLQ to be with him but SLQ doesn't agree. But there relation is like lovers in the last 2 chapter.
And done this is the whole novel.

Rather than redemption arc what we see is JQ character development and later chapters. But honestly PXX suffered between both of them. At one point I was pretty disturbed became PXX kinda started acting manipulative. But I understand. He loved the person but SLQ didn't love him back and this really affected him mentally. But SLQ had already told his he might never be able to love PXX like he loved JQ but PXX still agreed. At the end he suffered. SLQ said he didn't love JQ but he couldn't forget him either nither he could love someone else.
JQ character development was good but after all that he did he doesn't deserve SLQ back.

Yes I totally agree if only JQ wasn't such an idiot none of this could've happened. I feel sorry for PXX at they end he blamed himself saying if only he could've met SLQ before JQ then none of this could have happened. But PXX wasn't at fault he just fell in love with someone who wasn't ready to love someone new. And honestly I get SLQ after loving someone so deeply and getting hurt by him again and again I don't think anyone would be able to get over that trauma.

But did they get their vision back?? Cuz you said that JQ gave his eyes so SLQ??

Yes JQ gave his eyes to SLQ and he got his vision back after some treatment JQ also got his vision back

So yesterday I read banyue pass arc ch. 21 specifically. Remember when they were trying to hide from a sandstorm and entered a cave like place where they found tomb of general hua? Yeah so when XL was trying to translate what was written on the tomb he suddenly said, "General" and both Nan Feng and Fu Yao answered at the same time. And then both felt relieved when XL said he was just reading what's written.
This didn't feel too deep but after knowing real identity of Fu Yao and Nan Feng. This really is such a big spoiler. Because both Nan Yang and Xuan Zhen are called general and they unconsciously replied XL when called "General"

Rn I was reading ch-44 when XL, wind master and Lang Qianqiu went to ghost city to save Earth master.
Seriously guys I just find this Lang Qianqiu so fucking annoying like seriously he acts like 8yr old kid without any parents to educate him. I seriously question how could he even ascend when he's mentally 4?
And then them burning HC armoury! It doesn't matter whether I read it for first time or second time I seriously feel so annoyed at this part. I don't know why but them burning paradise manor just doesn't sit right with me okay? I just feel annoyed for some reason. I can't really explain why. But I wanna sit and cry over how they set Paradise manor on fire. At that moment I literally wanted to beat them. I can't explain okay don't get me wrong. But I can't hold my angry over how they burned paradise manor.
You may think even HC didn't feel offended over it instead he was worried about XL hand so why are you getting mad? I just can't explain ok?!
