Just my opinion, but it bothers me how he's so naive and innocent when he went through so much hardship for over 10 years, only getting four hours of sleep and eating once a day. I had expected him to be a little more cautious of others and a little fiercer. It's also a bit odd how he's so weak and has little stamina when he works so many jobs. I thought he would have some muscle and be stronger because of all his odd jobs and hardship. But he is only eating one meal a day and only four hours of sleep, so I guess that counts as a debuff. I thought he'd be more hard headed and have a sharper sense of things happening around him or of others and not just a ball of fluff with clueless naivety because he's always being chased. I bet I could have scammed him and make him do my homework just from a little pressure and a fake ass sob story. The ML also pisses me off. He got better but he's still a jackass. I don't understand how the MC doesn't find this guy restricting or overwhelming.

I like it but it's the fact that it doesn't truly feel like the villainess loves the demon king. I feel like she's only doing it all for Emi. Like she only likes him because he likes the mask of Emi, not because she truly loved him not because of anyone else. So I feel bad for the demon king. It feels like a fabricated love, a pawn on a chessboard. All for the sake of Emi.
