I feel you.. But I also think it's because she doesn't really know how to.. The game is also persistent and it's a constant reminder that she has to do 'something' to survive. If it was a normal isekai trope maybe the conditions would've been better.

Agreed, and you also have to remember her past life, she had no good relationships, no family that cared and no friends. She might not understand *how* to build relationships or why. Plus, she sees this as a game, a world she will leave soon, and a code that will dissapear
Why would she? Any time she does something that seems to be of her own volition, the system reveals that it was part of the plotline all along. It makes you thing that nothing you do is your own so why try to build relationships when the system will incorporate them into the storyline
