Yeah, Compared to other MLs who are literally written to be toxic as fuck, I can see why people would consider him a green flag towards MC. He himself is definitely toxic as a person, but so far, he hasn't actually treated MC in that same toxic way. From the chapters I've read, he hasn't crossed MC's boundaries or forced anything without consent, which already puts him above a lot of these red-flag MLs.
And MC isn't some helpless damsel either. He's actually a power bottom and can stand his ground, so their dynamic isn't just “powerful toxic ML + helpless MC.”

He is complex character for sure! He does bad things (work wise) in the name of the good. I would classify him as green flag. His intentions are rooted in doing good but his actions to accomplish results can be somewhat.. questionable. But that comes with his job.
Agree. It's not black and white, actually, both of them are morally grey. But relationship wise, I'd categorize Jake as a green flag, considering the nature of their life and relationship. Both are in the spectrum of toxicity, but they complement each other's crazy and it's beautiful and sweet.
Can't compare to OSD couple, that's green green and more relatable and realistic.
