This manga is so much more than a shoujo for real. The author managed to give all the characters so much depth, it was really interesting reading about everyone's story. They also described mental illness as depression, obsession, codependece so well and with such a original style (like when Issei's mom sees all the words she is so influenced by fall from the ceiling like it was a spot of dump leaking on her and burying her).
For some people this age gap thing could not be their cup of tea but I wonder why an age gap where the man is older is acceptable but when it is the woman suddenly it is something sick and immoral. The FL was a person with many traumas and she actually couldn't properly grow up, so with the ML she finally felt free to love and be loved for the first time in her life. Do people think she's a pedo because she kissed a 17 years old boy when she was 27? Think about all the men that married minors and got away with it with no consequences.
Ah and one more thing: <(_ _) > TENMA SUPREMACY'S <(_ _) >
ofc older men doing things with girls are deplorable, disgusting pedos
but so are older women doing things with boys
nobody is excusing behaviour of pedos except them
(also, agreed about tenma, it seems he was a parallel of issei, and i wish that wouldve been explored more.
wouldve been a lot more dramatic if hayame wasnt already head over heels for issei)
More importantly, the ML was the one who kissed FL first, without her consent not to mention.
I honestly don't think age gaps are any problem as long as the older one isn't seducing or grooming the younger one, and it's the younger one who fell in love. That said, this is when the younger one is above 16 (nearly an adult or even better an adult). Not when it's a kid around 8-10 years old.

It starded with a big portion of bitterness, the first thirty chapters were really tough to digest. Even if the fl was framed as a villainess in her past life, she STILL was one after the rencarnation and i found it a little difficult to deal with TwT (i have a problem with evil characters) BUT her rage and her revenge were 100% understandable so I kept reading and people, what can I say? This is one of my favourite Historical webtoons so far! The art is wonderful, the plot is always coherent and it goes on with the right pace, its not too rushed or too slow. Also the epilogue got my feet kicking the air for the excitement (I always love when AFTER the wedding we see what happens next, the babies of all the characters and their future!!) This is definitely a 10/10 work, bravo to the author, the artists and the translator team!!
Ps.: I red about some people being disappointed about Oscar's ending. On the contrary I think that that's the only ending that he could have had. He never made a choice in his life, he never chose what he wanted for himself, thinking that sacrificing himself would benefit who he cared for instead of taking action and taking their side openly. Him becoming a commoner is the best choice, and we need some characters that represent the slothfull part of humanity; I liked this choice very much.
UR SO RIGHT!!1!1!11!1!1 ABOUT EVERYTHING!!11!1!1! INFACT i think people just feel bad for him cause hes attractive
