Well... That was a twist lol.

But I still want her to reply to the princess' question with "I am the princess though?" I know the princess isn't a villain, but I want to see her reaction given all that she said and her acting all high and mighty about being a princess earlier only to find out the person she was doing that to is also a princess.

That fucking c*nt of a princess needs to die. I have never felt a character more deserving of that curse word than this fucking princess. I have never felt that a character needed to die so much in my entire life. This bitch deserves a painful death more than Rachel from Tower of God. Maybe the princess will understand that not everything is about her when she's slowly bleeding to death after getting stabbed, or maybe burned at the stake while being stoned like the witch that she is.

I see a lot of you all complaining about all the women being the same and calling the number of them suspicious.

The women get better, but it is a harem (though one where a choice will have to be made at the end):
As someone who's read a good bit of the novel, at least in that version the women get better once he gets to the academy. More do get added to his surroundings and it does get some harem vibes, but the new ones all have their own stuff going on so they are at least distinct from the previous ones in personality. Where I read to, there were three women who were genuinely trying to be in a relationship with him that didn't have their attempts treated like a joke.

Funny Spoiler:
Some other characters comment on how he has three female servants and it leads to him having a playboy reputation despite never doing anything to warrant one. His high charisma stat that they mentioned at the start gets him in some trouble despite all his efforts to act like a villain. The MC complains internally that he was aiming for his character to be seen as a haughty aristocrat, not a playboy trash aristocrat. Apparently, his dad had a "weakness" for women when he was at the academy (he didn't know that the things he did were seen as flirting by them and he had a hard time giving a straight rejecting to their advances), so when he hears those rumors about his son he tries to give advice about it and our MC is like "not you too..."

So his dad also a pushover back then. That's funny.

The most ironic thing is that he has an official fiance, other options should not even be in play. With aristocracy, you're not just dealing with a lone female, you're dealing with her whole family.Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

It's not a spoiler or anything, but something that they don't make clear here but do in the novel is that their engagement was not publicly announced. It was just an agreement between their families for political reasons that wasn't announced to the royal family for the same political reasons. If the royal family saw a marriage alliance between their houses they might look like they're gathering power to start a coup. So their family members and close servants know and rumors are going around about it amongst the nobility, but neither house has said anything to confirm or deny the rumors.

Oh boy! That doesn't portend anything good then. Guess he's going to having of maids. Guess we're dealing with an author with maid fetish

I ended up dropping the novel after reading a little ways past this point in the story because I just got this feeling that Raphael was going to become a yandere for Cayena and try to kill Olivia and Cayena's brother. I'm not sure if it's actually going to happen like that or not, but I'm getting a bit tired of the yandere male lead thing honestly.

Why do authors do things like this? Cayena is sitting here terrified of that H as*hole (forgot the name) who was married to her and obsessed with her in her past life and ended up killing her, and now the author is having more men being creepily obsessed with her? One of those men being her brother? They may not be blood-related, I don't remember, but regardless, NO. And is it suddenly okay for Raphael to be the one obsessing over Cayena instead of the H as*hole just because Raphael is hot? That shouldn't be a thing.

This poor girl (can we hire Melissa to jump into this story for a bit to protect her please?) is just trying to live her second chance at life, not wanting to have anything to do with these people, and as soon as she rejects him Raphael suddenly decides to show interest in her (another trope I'm tired of btw). And I get that that's not wholly what was going on there since her personality also changed suddenly and he didn't get it, but still. And then he starts getting more and more obsessed with her the more she tries to stay away from him.

And then instead of having her try to fix her brother and teach him to not try to kill everyone to solve his problems, she instead uses the fact that he's starved for affection to manipulate him despite knowing that he's a yandere from the book and her past life. Which, in case it's not obvious, is pretty much a guaranteed trigger for a yandere flag.

And the whole Raphael hates Olivia thing doesn't make much sense either, because if his personality is as she described from her past life and the book (which everyone has been so far) he wouldn't get jealous towards a girl to the point that he would hate her, just for being hired by Cayena. The inconsistencies in the characters annoy me. Especially since Raphael seems like he's supposed to be the male lead (at least I hope it's not the brother), and you tend to want your male lead to be as consistent as the female lead if you ever plan to have any actual chemistry between them.

Why are yandere's such a popular thing in romance stories like this? I don't get what's attractive about someone who would want to kill your friend just for being close to you and wants to make you completely isolated from all of your friends and family and literally the entire world. Why can't we have more wholesome beans like Nine?

I've read the novel, and actually it's her brother who will become yandere for her.. hahaha while Rahael kept on saving her from dangerous events. It's quite pretty good.. after chapter 100 I can't seem to find the other parts.
