I know Ran getting hit on the head is a running gag in this. It was so funny to me at first since Ran is such a troublemaker, an extremely cute troublemaker, but I don’t think some of those hits are even justified. Some seem not troublesome enough to deserve getting bonked on the head and I think it’s becoming overused at this point. One example is the recent chapter 25 where Ran was worried about Geuru possibly being sick and him dressing like a doctor and checked his pulse, though not in a correct way. I didn’t find it funny anymore when Sihan hit Ran just because of that, it was not that serious of a mistake and it seems overused as I mentioned.
Not hating on anyone, especially Sihan but I think the author needs to find a better way to make things funny instead of treating Ran like a ragdoll at this point of the story. But of course, some occasional bonks and those that are well deserved would still be funny.
Honestly same, my smile dropped as soon as I saw that, then he was kicked upstairs with his ice block. They keep dismissing him, instead of allowing him to learn

Agree i know he can cause a bit trouble sometimes but he tries so hard and they won't let him do anything so how can he learn
Despite them changing details from the novel, I love the pacing on this one and think this is better. Still, I think it would have been better for the gag if they kept the detail about credos being the one to personally fight the 3rd star master.
