how did youngjo even came up with a plan like that in the first place what’s his problem lmao, i still don’t understand what does he want
The plan was simple:
1. Offer Naeun help distracting a competitor in exchange for a favor;
2. Offer Garam a shoulder to lean on so he does not quit prematurely and a distraction he needs;
3. If Garam loses for whatever reason (stress, love, inferior skills), take credit;
4. Use the obtained favor to get the ex-lover his place back on the orchestra to make yourself feel better.
The ex-lover didn’t want the place, blamed Youngjo for own choices and took back the words that won him, so it all was for nothing. The ex-lover was fired as a request from Kim Heejae, for the audacity of questioning his student’s (Yerim) skills, under the pretence of laying hands on Youngjo.
