Honestly, I think the story should end once the MC and ML resolve their misunderstanding.
The MC has basically secured his position already, so there's nothing left to drive the plot unless a new antagonist appears or he decides to wage war against other kingdoms or BWAT will make this MPreg which they said it isn't.
No, the world building/ timeline consists of 3 parts/ stories and NOT seasons. We are at the beginning of their world (part 1) and smyrna and capri is apparently the ending (part 3) there will be another story after this one which will be the “end of their world” or renewal as it got destroyed or smth which will be part 2. The lore is over the course of a very very long time (like a millenia) something happened that caused their original world to change (smth with the blessing of the gods or magic idk) hence we go from normal people to omegaverse. Bwat explained this on their twitter last month (?) or last last month when they revealed that BoWN and SaC are connected (the peserus ancestors are actually mentioned during the meeting between the 3 royal brothers) and that langares are decendants of shuraka”s fam if im not mistaken, then a couple weeks after they revealed their 3 part series of of this same universe.
