I love how short and to the point that fight was. Then bam! EVERYTHING was put into Jaekyung’s crying face…. I feel blessed now
Re-reading this, I can see myself (slightly) in Jaekyung. We both had an abusive father (drunk, violent, verbally abusive)— and their deaths came as a shock (well, to be me anyway). And then we both eventually became what we hated the most— our father, short-tempered, self-centered, sensitive. As much as I empathize with Jaekyung, I don’t think he deserves Dan. Or at least there’s major character development in Jaekyung because Dan doesn’t deserve all the temper tantrums and mood swings. But I understand this is a fictional story, and the author can write her characters however she wants— she did say she loves writing toxic tops lol.
The Villainess is Done Trying and I’m done trying to re-read this. Kudos to you if this is your type of story
