I really don’t like the female lead. I understand part of this story’s charm is obliviousness to her own horror, but why did the author make her stupid enough not to recognize the tell tale signs of demons. Oh there’s a summoning circle— must be spirits. There’s children being offered to a man to be eaten—oh just a typical beast man. It’s the way she doesn’t even try to explore and understand her surroundings that pisses me off. Every time she has an interesting thought she lets go of it thinking this is just a simple rofantasy as if these aren’t classic rofantasy tropes. Honestly the only character I dislike is the FL; everyone else I love.
I just realized the little chibis are in the rpg maker artstyle. I love that.
