id recommend NovelUpdates! It's more like a database and with an account u can access the chapters translated by different groups. I've also read novels for free on readhive.org, wattpad (although its been rare) and webnovel (even rarer to find a free one). worst case scenario though, you can always search up the webcomics name +novel or novel name+online or novel name + free. the quality of translations is variable for all options though, so proceed w caution tho lmao
