I dont think i really understand makima's reasoning for why she did what she did. What exactly was she trying to achieve? Can some explain it to me i feel a little slow....

I don't know if there is a deeper reasoning behind her actions but from what i understood her biggest wish was to be eaten by the chainsaw man. Apparently when the chainsaw went on killing devils he didn't kill makima and so she wanted to know why and be killed by him. Guess she got what she wanted in the end? lol
I'm really not liking this. Yeonwoo doesn't value himself enough to realise haesols acting kinda wack. He feels lucky enough to be "dating" her. and haesol really doesn't seem interested in him. So her agreeing to go out w/him makes no senses. She seems like a no nonsense type of person so idk why she would be so half-assed about it. Imma have to come back later bc i cant handle the bullshit.
I know that this is mainly an action manhwa so if it stays that way i dont mind but if it will introduce some romance i hope theres more natural development especially with ML. Hes got other things to worry about but i know he can multitask. ML has known the guy who CEO of his guild for longer than he has known haein so for him to pick her to take was a weird choice. When did he start considering her a friend yk? Especially bc he has not really shown any interest in her. I feel that often times ppl are iffy abt romance in action manhwas bc the fl/love interest is under developed or the guy is cold to her for the majority so that when they do start introducing romance it doesn't feel natural. If anybody has read the light novel if they could tell me how it goes I'd love to know! (▰˘◡˘▰)
Its started off really good. I liked the whole sex friends thing with yeonwoo silently pining for Keith. A lot of good angst there but the story could have gone in in a bunch of diff direction and where it went was disappointing af. It would have been good to bet a bj alex 2.0 where yeonwoo finally has enough and dumps his ass and the keith can grow tf up and stop being such a disgusting asshole. Or doing a twist and having yeonwoo end up with the redhead. He was to fine to not have a deeper storyline. The seme got like not character development. How he treated yeonwoo after he was assaulted was disgusting. He was controlling, obsessive, possessive and he stayed that way till the end bc he got everything he wanted despite being literal garbage. And i felt bad for yeonwoo unrequited love sucks but that whole revenge thing was not actually well thought out he should dipped the day he got his car "stolen" he had the money he even packed his things. Its almost as if the author made him lose his sanity when he caught keith "cheating" even though they never really labeled their relationship. And with the way keith acted after that yeonwoo should have left his ass. Yeonwoo really had the potential to be a really bad ass character like how he quit in the beginning after keith said his assault ment nothing. Yeonwoo shoulda lost all feelings fot him that day. Overall this story was entertaining but pretty disappointing.
Im living for the angst but tbh i dont really care for the boss. He set boundaries and rules to their relationship and then break those boundaries and get mad when mc gets too close or "emotional". The second MC tries to keep a distance the boss also gets mad and tells im to forget the rules or whatever bullshit he was saying. But he doesnt stop to think about what he actually wants the relationship to really be. Thats not a fwb relationship thats some mixed signals wishy washy garbage. Then we have the ex whos feeling sorry for a situation he caused. He has the right to move on but the way he made MC feel like shit and blamed him for everything as if MC didnt just wake up from a coma to find his life falling apart. At this point just let him go and leave him alone. It is no longer your place nor do u deserve his love again.

I have read this story since it first came out. I liked it at first, but at the 100 chap mark I decided to let the chapters pile up so I could do a big reread and bindge the whole thing. Honestly it's so good. I can understand why people might think it's dragging on and it can feel like that if u r reading with each update bc you forget what happens and it can feel like you've been stuck in the same plot, but if u read it all the way through it doesn't feel like that. I think the pacings good and the characters have genuine character development. I have genuinely laughed out loud at some moments and when all the friends are together its some of my favorite parts. Of course w an ensemble cast it can feel like u don't get to see much of certain characters but I heard there's still a lot more to come.
I'm rooting for jiho. I already know he's the ML but I can really see why he would be a good fit for Dani. Honesty all her love interests are really great. I cant say theres one i prefer over the other really. They all treat her very well and all their moments together are so sweet. At first I really liked chunyoung. They were so cute together in their middle school days, but over time as they got older i started to appreciate jiho more. He even changes the way he spoke bc Dani didn't like it. ╥﹏╥. He notices the slightest changes in her and its hilarious how he always ends up putting his oot in his mouth. I think yeondan and ruda are cute but tbh the chemistry just isn't really there. Im not complaining abt her dating yeodan tho, I mean I can't blame Dani. If I were her, you best believe I'm going out w him.
yessss I totally agree, when I was waiting for chapters by the week, it felt so boring and annoying, but I just did a binge read and it was AMAZING
