I hope her redemption arc is her going to prison. I’m sure she’ll have a pick of super accepting and caring lovers there when they find out she’s in prison for sexually assaulting a minor. I’d love to see it, as a lesbian that’s the kind of beautiful representation I’ve always hoped for.

Bro who came up with the side story? Why do I have to sit through 2 chapters of their annoying bratty kid instead of like, their wedding? A date? Cecelia x Duffrey, main couple during the pregnancy, or even Benjamin getting a vacation. Like… literally anything else.
It just felt so grating and annoying because obviously we know he doesn’t hate her since we read the wholefucking book and know he would never, so then it’s just her being a bitchy child to him with no real stakes. Also the actual characters we know and care for are barely there at all.
And last complaint, it’s basically just repeat of beginning of the book because she looks identical to Viche as a child. If we had to do this out of all the other possibilities, why couldnt they at least make her look like Jade or a mix of the two of them??
Overall I’m pretty disappointed with this and won’t be rereading, can’t really say I recommend. Feels like the original plot was lost and then it just dragged on and the same thing repeated over and over with little to no payoff at the end as a reward for finishing. So sad.
