The fact of the matter is that atleast half the fandom is left with a bad taste. If she had lead the story differently, we would all be happy on board with Mono x Barron or atleast neutral. I mean this is what yaoi is supposed to be about. I'm not gonna enjoy a story where the uke is run over by a truck - the end.

he thought there is no chance being with him is because of baron's being married but as you can see baron clarfied that he is already divorced long ago... what does that mean.. all left to do is mono chasing after him we'll see what will happen

ikr? When Baron said he wanted to see if Mono was happy, Mono replied he haven't completely lose his mind. Means he will not chase after Baron because he's a married man but then Baron clarified that he was divorce for a while now which makes Mono flustered because Baron just explicitly said that Mono has a chance to him. All that's left is Mono chasing after Baron.
They're actually teasing each other when Mono said he's not interested with a married man while Baron said he's not interested in his younger form. (I find this cute <3)
Baron said he has to go back FOR NOW. And when Mono said I guess its real goodbye this time, Baron answered who knows? This is all foreshadowing like Mum always do <3 And all those MonoBaron fanarts at the epilogue~

The part that drives me crazy is that she left it open....i would've preferred she ended it with monoxbarron , or what not cause now I'm tempted to hang on for season 3 we've been in the dark too long

Sometimes an author should know when to call it quits with foreshadowing...cause now we got a rushed ending.....i would've preferred monoxbarron at end for clarity...then season three we focus on Lego for season three...then add in so.e monoxbarron tid bits....cause now we gotta deal with that and I'm done with mono now....but now we gotta see more scenes of broken heartedness and uncertainties

I don't know if I'm stupid or what, but to learn that Mananan has a father earlier in the story, does not lead me to anticipate a romantic relationship between him and Mono or anyone. Sure, maybe the author was planning it, but the so-called foreshadowing did not prevent me from gettimg smacked in the face with Barron x Mono. Especially when it was clearly hinted they were not in good terms and not just when he arrived, but even before.

Like everyone should admit Lego didn't have to be tied up in a three sided relationship...like my main thought was "what's the point of that" lego should've focused on so.eone else.....i love Lego sooo much.......idk maybe the author doesn't think much of Lego but to me he was real lol

I kind of agree because she did that whole thing with Lego (which well I saw it as one-sided but I see how others would interpret it differently) but it was implied that Mono had a past relationship with Baron and I had wished she would have developed it better. But I think you should see the BaronxMono relationship not as the author chucking Lego aside, but as her using BaronxMono to show that Lego deserves/needs/will get someone who loves him back! Lego wasn't there for Mono's character development, Mono and Baron were there for Lego's character/story development!

same, Lego was the most fun and funny character ever.

I guess mono technically still didn't deal with his unrequited love but he got clarity......but it's. Strong imply in the end that I'm worried about
