Uh hm yes, I think the worst part is coming and we all now it 'cause the eunuch mentioned it. The character who messed up the story all along was the fcking BROTHER YES.
The eunuch said they had a relationship which is atcually bullshit you can't just say it is a relationship. Gok is actually a genious architect but before he discovered by the late wongjae his brother raped him just because gok is beautifull and he shamelessly blame him saying he is seductive ugh!
I obvly don't know chinese I just translated it with google but looks like Gok actually liked wongjae and felt comfortable around him but because he was traumatized by his bro, he just couldn't let his guard down to any man and wongjae misunderstood thinking that he is rejected because gok has a lover and responds with anger. Means he threatened killing all the gok family if he won't accept staying in the palace (in his bed).
And one of the worst things is the bro reincarnated too and he raped gok again. As the eunuch said earlier, after Gok was born again he said he is a reincarnated man and because he has blue eyes they kept him away from the house. Haven't even met Gok, his brother finds him coincitentally, and rapes him again like in their previous life...
And we will learn reading thru that his brother cames to palace in the previous life's late days and gives him a poison to make him kill the Wongjae. In the scene, Gok wears a red gown to impress the Wongjae tricking him to make him drink the poison but Wongjae doesn't drink it. After that I'm not sure of the exact reason but Gok becomes more crazy and kills himself after destroying the palace he made.
And lastly, the story will end well. What a relief. Same thing will repeat, bro will bring the poison to the palace again but this time things goes smoothly and as I can remember king will punch the brother.

After some chapters we can see the king gives Gok a horse and the garden we saw earlear starts to grow flowers like they mentioned, in the previous life, wongjae really liked Gok but he just wanted to posses him so he never huged him or talk sweet to him but this time looks like the king flutters him a lot.. and they will sleep too... I like it being kinda realistic about rape trauma. He has been abused in all ways by the past wongjae so it is normal for the story that he is keeping himself long distant from the present king.
And I like the fact that the present king can feel uke's sadness and postponing his urges to touch the uke. He kinda protects uke from more devistating memories.
As I know, there are 52 chapter in the story, we are not even in the half of it so it's normal for them to not being so close yet. Uke needs to forgive the king. Otherwise things gonna turn out the opposite way from the kings requests.
