Just because you have a story that doesn't justify what you wrong things you did/doing is right. You still deserve punishments, only people who care about you get a shit whether you have a story or not. That's why him being her friend even when she's being unreasonable feeling guilty for what he did even though he did nothing wrong. We, being strangers to her without any attachment, feel that she's a bitch and have no shame is nothing strange. And yeah so it isn't a given that people will give a shit why you did the wrong things but because you did it and who you're to them

I know why I'm going so hard on her , she's a bitch because she's an adulterer . Just like I'd call any other criminal (murderer/rapist) a fucking asshole , I'm doing the same for her. I'd go equally hard on the MC if he didn't show any signs of the guilt that plagued him , and if I didn't know that he wasn't actually helping anyone cheat on their lover.
She also had the attitude of "I'm in love so I'm doing what I like" during the wife-confrontation scene (and called the wife "immature" for "making a big deal out of things".) and a lack of complete remorse . That's even more of a reason for me to hate her , she's got this "forever victim" complex and never took responsibility for her actions , how does that make her anything better than a bitch ?
If she thinks that in any way it's okay to send the "Traitor" message at this point , she's got the mentality of "If we're not friends, my wrongdoings are not really wrongdoings." . With this shameless mentality , a person can rape or murder a random person without remorse just because "they're not her friends". Joonyoung feels guilty in both situations , and that's the basic difference between both of them. She's a complete bitch , and he's maybe half a bastard .
So in conclusion , she's a bitch and a hypocrite with double standards , how can one not hate her ?

I like your explanation, however cheating takes 2 why is she a bitch even though she's not the women's wife, she doesn't know the wife doesn't have children with her and didn't promise to love her forever.

She's a bitch but nobody's is going in on the husband who to me didn't seem to feel guilty about cheating, was bragging about it and was even telling his friend to do the same thing.

And how does her sleeping with a married man with a wife whom she doesn't know, and the husband was telling her that he loves her and stuff.

If your complaint was why nobody is complaining about the husband cheating , I dunno why others aren't , but I didn't 'cus I thought he was an asshole from the very beginning. He is not a major enough character for anyone to criticize . She plays the secondary character (as she interacts and influences the primary characters/MC) . No one is "not blaming" the husband , it has been generally accepted that he is a shit character. He was not even worth spending time typing about , that's how shit of a character he is. He is a fucking asshole and a moron , however no one is defending him either.
Even if I did criticize him , no one would come to his defense (in the comments). But a lot of people are trying to understand and provide "sad reasons" to understand and maybe defend her behaviour . So your answer to "Why is nobody criticizing the husband?" , because he's a character nobody gives a fuck about. He's worthless to us. The husband is a bastard and she's a bitch, I thought this was a given ?

And, yeah, she "doesn't know the wife" , but she did the wife wrong. She chose to let a married man fuck her, it's her own damn fault. No one forced her into the relationship, and for her choices, she shows 0 remorse. That's the part I have a problem with.

The MC continued for months , but felt remorse and tried to take responsibilty for his actions (eventually broke up+got down on his knees to apologise). He didn't have to get caught to break up , his guilt made him do it.
She continued for months , and when she gets caught , what does she do ?
Get dragged by the wife , acts as if she didn't do anything wrong and insults the wife . She tries to play the victim and take the moral highground , and preach to others about how hurt she feels. She lacks the sense of self responsibilty and guilt , which at least the MC has .
Which is why I said , if Mari's a bitch then the MC is half a bastard.
One of them at least knows what they did wrong, tried to break up and feels guilty . The others one acts like a selfish little entitled brat.
That's the core difference between their characters.

As I said before, she can feel hurt. But that's not the only thing she should be feeling. She should've first felt guilt and shame , and if she did , she'd actually not try to play victim and take the moral highground in this situation.
[Also , the husband never played victim or "sassily" answer the wronged wife when he was caught, not even once.]

Again , for me , committing a crime to a stranger is no better than committing to a friend.
Eg.~ Raping a stranger is no better than raping a friend (for me).

Now just as I can't and won't try to change your opinion , you can't make me see Mari in any better of a light. But the point of my reply was to justify why I am so "harsh" on her.

Btw , even though I critiqued Mari this much , I did find her relatable at some points (the sadness due to friend's betrayal) ,and I don't think much better of Joonyoung either. I do agree with you on a lot of points too.
