Fl gets sent to the palace for “questioning” but Alecto the prince attempts to r@pe her in order other to bind her to him so she can’t annul her engagement.Because he needs Eris’s family‘s power to protect Helena.( the whole idea came from the emperor who basically ordered him to do it.)
Fl ends up killing Alecto in self defence after he tried to sexually assault her.

At the people commenting about the romance talking about dropping the story if Arthur gets a love interest, chilll. Mans already stated he isn’t ready for a relationship and as a novel reader who has read a bit past the manwha romance isn’t even involved the author just gives us small hints some of the time,which isn’t even much plus the upcoming arc is going to be soo mf devastating, romance is the least of our problems ,worry about keeping your heart intact. I honestly think it’s a shame to drop this masterpiece just because of a side plot that hasnt even been properly introduced yet.
Anyways everyone has their own opinion so at the end of the day the real fans are gonna stay and enjoy the story and the ones who want to drop can leave.

I really did like the plot but Istg if I keep reading it I’m not gonna enjoy it like I did cuz my pain for Eugene would just get in the way of everything. Tbh I love this man sm that it hurts, I genuinely can’t understand why this man is underrated. I remember translating/reading the novel and falling inlove with his character every single chapter. Seeing his charm being over shadowed by other characters is a bit disappointing. Ngl I expected to see soo many simps cause the novel comment section (korean one) was filled with them. Anyways I’m low-key glad some of you don’t have taste so I can keep this man to myself- I mean share with Roxanna of course (she probably wouldn’t share because of her possessiveness but still).

honestly, i know if i had purely read the novel first, my fave would be cassis bcoz i really do like him!! he's a ML really easy to like! but having had only read the webtoon so far and character aside, im a simp for the design/drawing of dion!

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Cassis's character is so good in the novel, it's weirder to like some other male character over him. His love for Roxana is so sweet yet intense, plus he allows Roxana to show her weaknesses in front of him but at the same time regards her as a strong woman. Cassis respects our Roxana so much, plus their steaming chemistry, I can't help but swoon at their scenes. I also fall for him at every chapter he is mentioned, and it's unbelievable how he caught my interest much more than any male lead I have read about. Cassis is the best boy in my heart, that's it.
