I recommend to just read until vol. 1. Everyone said vol.2 is disappointing and all but I'm just so confused that that vol2 is almost a completely different story

Helpp, gosh I really wanted to enjoy this. I was never this bothered with neither age gap nor love triangle but it's soo hard to read this manga. The theme and background stories are all SO GOOD so i can't help but keep reading but now I'm stuck at ch 9 cause like why do I dislike Fio being with mc so much... I mean Luso also isn't the best but mc is way too fabulous to settle with either

Since it has come to this, let's all re read the warning tags ppl have left and take precautions if this manga isn't ur thing. While properly acknowledging the messed up things that these warnings represents, let's also remind ourselves that this is how the story is supposed to go; the reincarnated mc 'playing' in the otome game setting as one of the antagonists.

I've read the novel, the whole story definitely feeds into the dark power fantasy of going against the original otome heroine and shattering its happy ending illusion. And from the tags, even without spoilers, you can tell that our mc Andrim is willing to go down really dark paths to get what he wants. And yes, the knights (including Jorga) didn't immediately choose the right thing BECAUSE the tactics (manipulation and seduction?) played by the mc is working. And yes it has messed up outcomes.

Even though I personally consider the story to be exceptionally interesting as a whole, and as much as I wanna defend this manga, I always believe that a lot of the disturbing parts here are DEFINITELY not for everyone. Read or walk away

Idk what's up with all these negative comments and low ratings, this was hilarious and very fun to read. I mean it's prob not gonna be everyone's best read but it's a light romcom, there are WAY worse mangas in this genre. Besides, the characters here are interesting and reasonable, the author isn't lazy when it comes to details in the story like abt their job or the peptic ulcer thing, no one is crossing the line including with that handsome banana guy, even his introduction to us is pretty natural. Even when I enjoy seeing the main couple, I still think it makes sense for uke to waver towards the banana guy in the circumstance that he's in, banana is introduced THAT well as a character imo.

So many ppl hating on uke tho, am I the only one who thinks he's rather refreshing? Maybe readers in this site just have different standards but this level of 'checking out other guys while dating someone' and 'insecurities when with someone who had only dated opposite sex' in this manga are all SO HEALTHY compared to soo many (mostly older) bl manga. This also hasn't ended yet so hoping it'll update

I kinda prefer if Chris were to stay rather indifferent to Allen (at least internally) because if he still wants the neglected husband's life it'd be more comedic and highlights more of his motive as an isekai'd dude instead of repeatedly mentioning Chris used to be straight (lmao). Also it could've given Nathaniel a better chance at becoming the diva that he is. Mc falling in love is expected and all but since he's the side chick anyway why not just make them a throuple, idk if I've ever seen one in a BL tho

After reading the first volume, I can def tell why some would not like it. imo, some historical or yakuza-related stories are like this, crude, sometimes with unlikeable characters or motives. But ig this is just a lil bit too crude for most ppl. Although, the storytelling does make the plot more confusing but it gets satisfying in the next volumes, esp the 3rd. Last chapters covers up a lot of the missing information about the story including the main characters, solidifying their complex reasons and upbringings. After reading the whole thing, i think there is anything in the story that could make anyone go out of their way to rate this *too* low.
