and have included that it's "dramatic irony".
This entire mess could easily be solved if the characters JUST TALKED TO EACH OTHER!
Granted, that would kinda take all the fun out of it, but I can't wait for the point when she finds out that she's been trying to run away form her perceived arranged marriage, by fake-dating the guy she doesn't want to get married to.
I know it's probably a no-brainer to say this, but I can really respect the Emperor after this chapter.
The speech he gave is right: children cannot choose who their parent are, therefore they should not be blamed for the circumstances of their birth.
Having announced the non-discrimination law and banning the mistreatment of children regardless of their lineage, my respect for him shot way up. Good man.
Well… this is interesting.
I wasn’t aware anyone else used the word “Drifter” to describe a reincarnated character.
I just started using the terms “Drifter” (someone that’s been reincarnated) and “Transient” (someone that’s been summoned/transported to a other world) as a way to categorize types of isekai characters with the vain hope that it would catch on as a trope.
I’ll take this as a minor success.
