What when did the flash forwards suggests they were not friends? It only showed him coming and picking him up from work on Christmas Day and giving him a ring as present.
I can’t find the chapters but if i’m not wrong they kinda lost contact? it’s been so long since I read those scenes, I think my mind just assumed that they stopped being friends in college.. If someone can find it please lmk
I mean I think there was just that Christmas celebration flash forward from what I recall and I think what it was showing was that they were still together and celebrating Christmas together. He Tian came to pick him up but ended up getting a lift by our orange hair guy while leaving his car blocking the road
And they went off to the orange hair dudes house.
I mean you can assume that they are grown adults that each have their own job.
He Tian is still rich as ever and the orange hair dude had moved out and was living alone. He was allowing He tian in and even accepted his Christmas gift which we see is a cheap toy ring from what I recall.
None of which suggest anything about separation other than the fact that they were full grown responsible adults. And that the orange dude was still hard worker and poor.

We already know, we discover it at the very beginning of the manhua, that the four boys will separate within a few days and will never see each other again, for several years.
