I'm well aware of the chokehold this has had on everyone for the past few years. I truly enjoyed it. The drama at times had me double fisting popcorn! Man do I miss the excitement of the early chapters! That being said it really did feel like it went a little too long. It drug out some people's suffering way too much and threw in random ppls side stories that really didn't do much to the story as a whole other than padding the chapter count. I read the novel to a point and even then I felt like there was just so much unnecessary extra. That being said I think ill go re-read the beginning again cuz that's where all the juicy bits were ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
This isn't really a necessary comment but in chp 17 Taejun uses a fancy lighter. I recognized it as a S.T. Dupont lighter because of a reel I ran across recently. When I tell you that this brand of lighters range from a couple hundred to thousands and thousands of dollars. I'm so gagged at the needlessly expensive bs that rich ppl buy. This particular lighter he has I can see ranges from abo 400 to 1300 dollars (╬￣皿￣)凸

Last thought for this would be that I wasn't really on board with the final scene of them pretty much kidnapping a teenager to drop him off into the school. I really liked the part of the story where the mc was a full grown adult who had at least SOME life experience
I'll always prefer officials over other translations(specially mtl) but the officials have his term of endearment as "Boy" and the fan translation has it as "Puppy". I def prefer puppy over boy. Like I can kind of get it in the terms of dog ownership calling ur dog "boy" lovingly but it's super weird in an actual relationship

I got through 20 chapters and it just isn't keeping me interested. I have no prob with the top omega X bottom alpha dynamic. I think that's super fun. Jaeyeon just doesn't do it for me as a character. It's not even his appearance that's the issue(tho I'm annoyed af that an aspiring hair stylist has a head of hair that looks like he got trapped in a wood chipper!!! They even cut it and it looks the freaking same!!) but his personality that's such a downer for me. Cute puppy top can be so good if it's done well but Jaeyeon just isn't quite right
I'm really enjoying the side stories I'm much more interested in the continuation of the counts story than the chapters about his son. I've never been a huge fan of stories that follow the life of children we saw get made lol
I get distracted by Owen's mouth in every scene. It just looks so freaking weird, I mean his tiny ass head on his huge ass shoulders were distracting too but it's the mouth that looks photoshopped on

Hmmm..... if the translation was better I'd be more inclined to keep reading this but I feel like it's 40% translation and 60% storyboarding issues. If this has a novel I'm sure the story has a way better flow but this is just way too disjointed to be actually legible
I feel like this one would probably have been better if it had more chapters. It really needed time to flesh out everything. The art is really good and the characters are good looking but the plot suffers from a pushover MC. Story would have been way more interesting if the MC had made things more difficult for the ML instead of just rolling over everytime he gave him an ultimatum. All I'm all if u want PWP this is fine as a quick read
This one I would say is just ok. The main plot is something I would normally eat up like chips and dip but the execution is where it loses me. Everything is just toooooo convenient. I think it's more geared to the very very Shojo side of the romance spectrum which of course has its own audience, im just not a part of that audience. Not to mention the saintess(Elaine) and the fake saintess(Leticia) look 12 years old and having the evil prince slobber over the fake saintess with some innuendos made me hella uncomfortable. Which just clashes with the Shojo vibes.
The Good Prince(Nigel) has the personality of a wet paper bag. Really all it can be boiled down to is he's "nice" he's so forgettable that when I was typing out his name I had to think for a good couple of seconds to remember what the heck his name was.
The evil prince (reeeaaaally can't remember his name) is such a caricature of a trope (legit not just a caricature or just a trope but a caricature OF a trope) of an evil prince he's probably 3 chapters away from deciding he needs to bring back Elaine and put her in chains as Leticia sits on his lap on the throne.
Not sure if I just forgot it but did they actually ever say what illness it was she had???? To have had zero symptoms for her whole life but they were aware of it from her infancy and had a life expectancy figured out? And it only has some super duper secret miracle cure?
Both these trash men need to go. Licht is not a better of 2 evils he's just as gross as the prince. Obsession will never be love
