Petition for authors to write characters that don’t r@pe or assault their ‘partners’, because you could just as easily choose not to have sexual violence as a character trait and ‘unregistered sex offender’ as a fun fact for your male lead by choosing to give them redeemable evil acts. Like robbery, or tax evasion

I read one where the MC is literally abused, all he does is try to run away once he doesn’t want to put up with the ML’s behavior and keep getting dragged back. Chinese novels sometimes has me laughing with the ridiculous MLs they write. The MLS in there usually miss the MC when the MC leaves them, but when the MC is there asking for affection, they don’t care.

There’s one where the ML literally cheated on MC by sleeping with another cheater outdoors while MC was asleep, he said in his mind how MC isn’t as sexy and very conservative. It’s the Manhua called “Sissy” if you know. Around chapter 38-39 he cheats.

The way he thinks about MC and denies his feelings for MC, and treats him like a pet, is so irredeemable and disgusting. And the sissy MC is way more of a doormat than this one.

LMFAO a boss battle between doormat MCs at least the ML didn’t commit sex crimes against the MC in that one (as far as I know from what you said, I haven’t read it), but the fact that that is what makes the ML better just shows that the bar is literally in hell

The Chinese Manhua’s always give me a good laugh bc generally, and I mean this in the kindest way, they give off early 2010’s wattpad energy in their stories. Like in that they’re not cohesive, there’s no plot, and the male leads are toxic alpha males and the female (or other male) leads are “UWU so smol clumsy and innocent, hope I don’t get thrown into unhinged blown out of proportion kidnappings or clan wars where they discover my secret of being the special fairy warlock ultra powered maiden from the prophecy that was mentioned once”. The BL ones take that and get goofier because they have to censor the kisses and other couple stuff, like it’s insaneeeee. Come on China you have 31 million more men than women, why are you so opposed to letting them couple up and be happy wouldn’t gay men help the ratio ??
