I think you got the villains mixed up, it’s heinry’s friend that rashta has IOU’s. Heinry started out as a villain but changed his plans after he married neiver. Rashta is also a villain but a low level one cuz they aren’t as serious as everyone else.

In the comments of the story “remarried empress” you can see it’s divided, some people take Rashta’s side and some people don’t. People take her side cuz of the background and the people who don’t is cuz all the evil things she did.

It is whack, in my opinion even in this story the saintess is close to a low grade villain. It only cuz how obsessed she is and wants to make sure that she gets wat she wants.

The way I see it is he was the one who came up with the plan but there is only one person who can break that seal on the bracelet. So they corresponded together on the plan to get wat they want

but the thing is, I wonder if the pope's plan is to take the mc or imprison the mc, since their past isn't told yet and the mc has no idea about their past at all, so we can't even tell if he likes the mc or not

When that happens they most likely knew what should happen, but if they twist the story for a reason it’s a butterfly effect. But I don’t remember her changing anything except a few things so this outcome wouldn’t have happened but somehow it did

that's what I mean, since she's been basing her info from the novel, but the novel said nothing about the OGmc and the pope having any sort of relationship, so we're left hanging om how the OGmc and the pope's real relationship is, which I am dying to know because what is the pope's plan with the mc, since she was just branded as a witch and is now gonna be imprisoned

what can i see is , the ogmc is actually kind however easy to manipulate. the reason she turned evil is because her love interest doesn't like her back. However, she still a brat tho for hiding the letter because of her jealousy. Later in the story, as we can see the more evil deeds she did was all influenced of the pop. Well anyway, imo the pop just ignite the fire that have been there in the first place tho. He is the main evil, yes. But she really vulnerable in the first place. not that i can blame her that much because she's basically a high school student.
