I hate this little boy. The child in the story is so annoying and obnoxious and all I’m doing reading this is seeing ways that the mother could be more strict with the boy in order to get out of the bullshit. To begin with when he climbed into a strangers car, mistake okay but when he climbed out she should’ve just grabbed his hand or pick him up and walked off. I don’t know be more strict. It’s so annoying because all I’m seeing is a spoiled brat with a big mouth and the mother just conceding to her spoiled brat child with his big mouth. I can’t stand the spoiled child angle and the weak mother who doesn’t discipline them. It’s like if she were just a little more than a wilting flower that concedes to a four year old none of this garbage would’ve happened the way that it did and I wouldn’t hate it half as much. Male lead is an ass, female lead is a moron and a four-year-old spoiled brat loudmouth child is the crème de la crème of annoying. The little boy makes me hate the story more than the non chemistry between the parents.
OK but like this is a really sad story the ending felt unnatural. It could’ve ended with her just going back home and that being it. Him finding out the truth and then just not getting back together would’ve been preferable. He was an ass and he was projecting upon her a lot. He married a woman to forget and I think for money to? Because the girl did come from a wealthy family and his family were struggling and then he accused kitty of being with Maxwell only for the wealth in the money. Projecting much? I think he was damaged beyond all reproach.Like, there was no way for them to be together because they both had their issues and they were both damaged but he was he has issues. Her issues are much more understandable than his, she was abused as a child her mother died she was poor she fell in love with a boy who slept with her got her pregnant married someone else and then her baby was stillborn. She was booted out of the house abused further by her grandparents it’s like she couldn’t win for anything. So what’s Jake’s excuse? Oh my rich families not so rich anymore I have to fix it. Oh she’s my sister so we can’t be together what was me me. Oh she’s not my sister so if I could I could go to her in California and tell her the truth and everything but I won’t. Whoa is me yet again. And then when he sees her he treats her like absolute garbage and basically pretend that nothing happened between them. Because it should’ve been obvious the first time she spoke to him with attitude that she didn’t want to be anywhere near him because of their issues he’s an asshole. He has no excuse to be as much of a dick as he is to her. If she wanted to be a dick she could be as big of a dick as she possibly could in the situation considering all of the things that she lost which was essentially everything. She said so herself with fame in luxury and money it makes her feel nothing because all she could feel is this empty hole in her heart you know where her baby was. I’m annoyed that she chose to be with him at the end. The people right fic for these things to fix the shitty endings? Asking for a friend.
