Okay, so I had read this manga a long time ago, and it was old, like not the fresher artsy style drawing. I only remember a few details, and that's not helping me on Google. I am hoping one of you guys can help.
Here's what I remember:
1. It is old and set in historical times. (which period, I honestly don't know)
2. The story is about a servant in the great house, and there's some psychological torture.
3. I remember there being a tree, where the ending happened. SPOILER: the master is killed or the master kills the servant.
4. It was a really dark story.
I remember it being an angsty, sad and psychological manga. The art was not very old but also not modern. I remember this being a sad story.
I actually logged in to read that, but we all know what happened to the lists. I had read it, but I can't remember the name.
Any help is appreciated.

Logging in after a long time! my God, all the mangas I had read and collected to re-read are gone. What happened? can someone fill me in?(⊙…⊙ )
A month or two ago there was an issue with the site and everyone's want to read/reading/read lists got deleted. Only the mangas that the users tagged or rated could be saved.
In short, the site went down due to increase in traffic at the end of Jan, a few days later a disc crashed and a lot of user data was lost. Devs could only restored tagged/rated stories to people's lists. Anything else, including people's notes, got permanently lost
