My precious Hyesung, even though this story revolves around his son, Hyesung will still be the star of this series for me - after the trauma and abandonment he was left with by both his parents, I still cannot forgive his mother for my baby, nor Dojin and Byul for befriending and sending money to the parent who wanted no responsibility or part in Hyesungs's life.
The author seems hell bent on letting Hyesung get the short end of the stick by never letting him get the support he required from his family nor the retribution his mother very well deserves for abandoning baby Hyesung.
However much Dojin and Byul seem to love Hyesung they are very negligent towards the trauma and scars Hyesung bears, and for that I sadly cannot love them the way I love Hyesung
╥﹏╥
How can you blame a grand child who want to see his grandma? And you talk like Byul should bear the trauma of his father, you want a generational trauma that's it.
Hyesung has to face his trauma, as he feel like coping with his mom, in his own rythme (he's doing a great job). And his family is doing their best to be supportive of his choice and feelings, as Dojin tells him that he will agree with any of his decisions. And let me be clear, I'm not saying that hyesung should forgive his mom, no, I'm saying that when you see his reaction after seeing his mom, you know that there is so much emotions building up and he wont feel better until he resolves this matter. How? I don't know but Hyesung is clearly engaged in healing and I'm here for it!
Exactly! We all want hyesung to leave his cause of trauma and focus on the newfound love that he now recieves from his family and that comes to my main point of criticism which is that the reunion of Hyesung with his mother, under the support of his son and his husband, who are both aware of the trauma caused by the mother, is absolutely pointless! Is there any rationale in reuniting and reliving the past for Hyesung, now that decades have passed and he has properly moved on with his life? No! And as the author seems to want, nor did the reunion at all, come to a resolution between him and his mother. Therefore my main issue was with the author creating this unbelievable scenario where yet again, we have to see Hyesung unfairly cave in again.
And yeah I still blame byul for reaching out to the person who abandoned his mom as a child with no reliable guardian, for her own selfish purpose. Hell he may be a kid, i know, but he's also at the age where he is able to distinguish who to side and support and seeing his grandmother behind his mom's back was in bad taste.
Forget the old man, I love hearing about Juhyeok - his desire to win, to achieve greatness as an Omega among alphas who everyone deems to be superior to omegas. I love the panel where Juhyeok's drive to be at the top just reflects in his eyes. I wouldn't mind at all if this story focuses only on Juhyeok, without any of those sobbing slobbering alphas (●'◡'●)
