People called the author racist because of the use of the N word in one of the older Daniel chapters. He was investigating racism in a school, and using his usual methods thought that giving the child a taste of their own medicine would suffice but the child was black so he used the N word. I’m not agreeing with the author or defending it but they did issue a statement and apology after the chapter was released.
