Art is cute, the story would have been fine if not for the fact he's literally a cat. He was a damn cat not long ago. It's just weird, so this ain't for me.
Please make them team up and take revenge together. It's a good chance for them to overcome their guilt and despair over their son's death and start to love* each other again.
