Am I getting old. I loved this story and one half of a marriage or wtv too. It's realistic. I'm not married and I'd rather die than stay with a cheater but given her financial dependence and her mom...also ofc the impossible love story with younger guy, heartbreaking aw. They both love each other but it's not the same as marriage where they know everything about each other...loved it over all. Maybe I am getting old. I should go read a highschool shoujo or smth
Thinking about it more...I feel really really bad for mayama I was hoping fl would never act on anything but oof. Poor kid. At least he made some friends but damn for that to be your first love.
People are mad at fl coz ml was a victim but it's not so black and white. And I think they showed that very well with both perspectives. He made poor decisions and kept lying and listening to sayaka instead of trusting fl. And obviously fl just kept getting rejected and hurt when she didn't know anything. And after finding out, it's not like your feelings will just reset. She was hurt by him so many times when he was trying to cover up desperately. And they all banded together to get lawful justice for him before she took that break to take care of her hurt.
Oh yeah I loved that part. He was happy and relieved that it was over, but now she was sitting there with this pain that he lied to her so much.
Anyway I loved this story. Main couple is so good looking too. Love it.
More than justifying his actions, isn't the backstory showing how they got to the debt ridden situation they're in rn
