It’s really a shame that this has been discontinued but rn I’m only on chapter 2 and I can’t stop thinking how much this reminds me of MDZS by MXTX you may know her other work named Heaven’s Official Blessing. But the similarities are making me feel both nostalgic and fearful for what’s to come. But anyways I may not know what’s gonna happen by the end of this season and I may change my mind on how I feel but just based off the first 2 chapters it really reminds me of MDZS aka the grandmaster of demonic cultivation. It has like 3 different English names but it typically pops up with Mo Dao Zu Shi. So if yall really enjoyed it I would 100% recommend you read MDZS. It has a novel and an anime as well as a donghua so you can read it or watch it. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I really wish this is bl too like mdzs. Mc reminds me if wwx is raised in a good environment and he will actually be able to protect his family and help others. Society reminds me if it wasnt so heavy biased. Seolyeong and Jaha’s chemistry is so good, they first startee rough but they gradually got used to each other and by end of season 1 we see the development go further. I curse this doesnt have s2 because we would have seen their relationship go deeper and again i wish this is bl
Umm that felt like a waste of my time honestly. I waited so long. And for what? I actually rlly enjoyed the story but then they pull smth like this and call it an ending. The ending is ass. Now I heard there are 60 chapters of side stories that haven’t been illustrated but that ending was rlly some bs. The pacing was so off and it was so out of nw. Now I’ve been reading this as it was coming out and the last chapter I left off on was the chapter right before he used his awakening skill the Great Sacrifice and honestly the whole scene was underwhelming and felt extremely anti-climactic. Literally the system window did all the heavy lifting . It was truly out of nw I was utterly confused. But anyways I actually hated that ending (partial spoiler.) and somehow I feel like he won’t regain his memories even in the side stories or it’ll be abt him regaining them. Either way I likely won’t stick around to find out. I rlly enjoyed the story, hated the ending. （￣へ￣）
