In chapter 3 when Guwon punches the "zombie/maggot", there's a close up of the maggot's eye, then a close up of Guwon's eye. Notice anything??

I think that's why the others are atleast slightly afraid of him, that and his size and strength.
I do think Guwon is a genuinely good, kind person, but I'm still a bit uneasy about there the plot is going though....
