wtf why was that genuinely one of the best i’ve read.. the pacing, characters, plot, art, everything was so perfect ╥﹏╥
adele continuously brushing over and outright ignoring the duke’s feelings and trauma seemed kinda weird and hypocritical for me. of course a man who was pursued under the pretense of “love” would have hesitancy in another relationship. instead of trying to understand him and heal his trauma, she forced him to proclaim love for her in an extravagant way so that other ladies could be jealous of his proposal. imo thats super shallow and selfish of her— how can she demand him to understand her feelings without even attempting to hear his? kinda ruined the story for me ngl
im sorry am i the only one overwhelmingly frustrated by her lack of competence? like i feel like the whole series has been leading up to this point and yet shes repeatedly been outsmarted and is forced to rely on third-party help.. i understand she’s supposed to be kind and the embodiment of the goddess but you can be kind and also smart… i just cant believe we’re at the climax at the story and she still is having to rely on teo’s reversal word to get her out of this situation and she has no real power for herself…
I thought the whole point is that she is weak due to the emperor? That she has no true power and her psyche was broken by the emperor and restored by teo?
