It is incredibly frustrating to see a woman like Bianca risk her life, endure psychological trauma, face a devastating infertility diagnosis, and live as a fugitive while heavily pregnant—all while the man responsible only has to suffer for a dozen or so chapters before being granted full forgiveness. Their dynamic feels deeply unfair and completely one-sided.
The author seemingly relied on the classic "late regret" trope, where the male lead only begins to value his partner after she completely vanishes. Unfortunately, for readers who want proper emotional justice, the karma Ricardo faces feels like a mere slap on the wrist compared to the years of emotional neglect and scars he inflicted on Bianca.
