casey isn't that bad, but her obsession w/ the dude is just over the top- I understand if she just wants to find the truth bcs thats her job, but she kind of like "I wanna prove smth, so I gotta go after him" which makes me think that maybe she wants to prove his innocence.Then, I wonder what would happen after she finds out the truth, would they become friends?
I really don't think it's his innocence that she wanna prove, it feels more like she wanna prove herself and her worth and the way she does that, I really don't like personally and about them being friends, someone mentioned that their dynamic was far better in novel(which I haven't read, so not too sure) but in this webtoon, she's straight up annoying!!...
I just picked this up again, and I still don't like how the author wrote the girl's character. The self-centered tsundere character is unbearable for her- honestly would love for her character to develop more since she's grown up and all but yet she's acting like her past self ever since shirone came to the academy, and she set herself up for that.
On another note, I wanna see shirone at his fullest. The pace of the story is alright but I wish to see more of shirone training, ik he's a genius and all but his character is that of a curious boy. I wanna see him struggle- stuck on a problem/analysis/ assumption but then finds a way to solve it or interpret it in a way. Can't say much for the other characters since they don't stand out, in my opinion. But they're all pretty good.
